With LinkCentral, every short link can become a shareable QR code in just a click. QR codes let your audience scan and instantly visit your links. perfect for bridging the gap between offline and online. You can customize their look, download them as PNGs or SVGs, and use them anywhere your brand needs a quick, scannable shortcut.

What are QR codes?

A QR code is a square barcode that can be scanned with a phone’s camera. Once scanned, it instantly directs users to a specific URL, such as your LinkCentral short link.

They’re perfect for:

  • Posters and flyers
  • Product packaging
  • Menus and brochures
  • Any place you want to share a quick, scannable link

Enable QR Codes

  1. Go to LinkCentral → Settings → Features.
  2. Enable the QR Code Generation option.
  3. (Optional) Click Configure to set the default styling:
    • Background color (or choose Transparent for no background)
    • Foreground color (for the QR dots)
    • Logo image (Premium only)
    • Dot style (Premium only)
  4. Don’t forget to click Save Changes when finished.

Generate a QR Code for a Link

Ensure QR codes are enabled globally. Then:

  1. Create or edit a short link in LinkCentral.
  2. Make sure you’ve set a custom slug.
  3. Click Generate QR Code.
  4. The QR code will be generated using your link’s slug.
  5. Double-check that the Short URL points to the correct destination.
  6. Save the QR code:
    • Right-click → Save Image As
    • or use the Download PNG / Download SVG button
