Inserting Links (Gutenberg)

LinkCentral offers a powerful and user-friendly integration with WordPress’s Gutenberg editor, allowing you to easily insert and manage your custom links within your content. This integration enhances your workflow and ensures that your links remain synchronized across your site.

You can also manually copy and paste links into your content. However, when you insert links using the LinkCentral button in Gutenberg toolbars, all future changes to your links will be automatically synced. Read more

Troubleshooting

If you find that links inserted using the button on the toolbar are not parsing correctly on the frontend of your website, this may be due to conflicts with your theme or other plugins. In such cases, we recommend using alternative insertion methods to ensure your LinkCentral links function properly.

  1. Try using our shortcode method first.
  2. If this does not work or you don’t want to use shortcodes, you can manually insert the full link (e.g., https://yourdomain.com/go/your-custom-slug) into your content or HTML. While this method doesn’t offer automatic updating, they provide a reliable fallback to ensure your links are displayed and tracked correctly.
