Inserting Links (Classic Editor)

LinkCentral offers an integration with WordPress’s Classic Editor (also known as TinyMCE), allowing you to easily insert and manage your custom links within your content. This editor is used by many page builders too, such as Elementor and Beaver Builder.

Inserting links in Text

  1. Select the text you want to link.
  2. Click the LinkCentral button in the toolbar.
  3. Search for and select your desired link from the modal that appears.
  4. Optionally, set options like opening in a new tab (or adding parameters when Premium). You can also choose your desired link insertion type.
  5. Click “Apply Link” to insert the LinkCentral link.

Troubleshooting

If you insert Synchronized links or Shortcodes using the button on the toolbar, you may find that links are not parsing correctly on the frontend of your website. This may be due to conflicts with your theme or other plugins. In such cases, we recommend using Direct Links. While Direct Links don’t offer automatic updating, they provide a reliable fallback to ensure your links are displayed and tracked correctly. Read more.
