Enable the UTM templates feature

With LinkCentral Premium, you can easily apply UTM parameters to your links to track marketing performance. To enable this feature:

  • Go to the Settings page.
  • Open the Plugin tab.
  • Under Additional Features, toggle Enable UTM Templates.

If you wish, you can create predefined templates by clicking on the Configure link. In the configuration table, you can:

  • Create multiple templates.
  • Define a title for each template (optional).
  • Fill in any of the five standard UTM parameters:
    • utm_source
    • utm_medium
    • utm_campaign
    • utm_term
    • utm_content

A new row will appear automatically as you begin filling out fields, allowing you to create unlimited templates.

Applying UTM tags to your links

When adding or editing a link, click the tag icon next to the Destination URL field. A modal will appear where you can:

  • Manually add UTM tags.
  • Or select from your saved UTM templates.

Good to know:

  • You can fill in as many or as few UTM fields as needed. Only the filled ones will be applied.
  • If your link already includes UTM tags, applying a new set via the modal will overwrite the existing ones.
  • Special characters are automatically encoded.
